Project Beauty was created in 2017 by a fellow photographer, Thomas Nguyen, with the goal to redefine what true beauty is. The idea was to create portraits that were 100% authentic — no make-up, no retouching — Just you and the lens. Project Beauty has since turned into a movement to empower teen girls with their own authentic image, and their feedback has been incredibly powerful!
So much pressure is constantly in our faces about beauty: Brand, Make-up, Filters, Contouring, Size, Shape, Style…. But who really gets to decide what REAL BEAUTY is? We do. And we must keep it real! I firmly believe in and stand behind this movement to create portraits that are authentic and beautiful. At a time when self-image can be fragile, these true images will empower you with confidence that your beauty comes from your soul.
